cottage was completed in 2007 and sits on a
rugged hillside facing west, ready and
waiting for you to enjoy tonight's
enchanting sunset over the Northumberland
Strait. |

The House
This home is of post and beam construction
using 100% Nova Scotia native timbers.
Plentiful and large windows allow for
multiple and majestic views from virtually
every room. Enjoy the sight of Prince Edward
Island and Pictou Island from the 500 sq ft
glass railed deck. See the local lobstermen
from nearby Livingstone Cove set their traps
and haul their delicious treasure during
lobster season. Then, most summers the
whales start to play just offshore while
cruise ships, fishing boats and yachts of
all sizes pass quietly by in the distance. |

The Main Floor
The Main floor features the
livingroom with leather furniture, a soap
stone wood stove and a flat screen HD TV,
diningroom, breakfast bar, two private
bedrooms and a bath, all surrounding the
modern and fully equiped oak kitchen. The
second bedroom offers a queensize
SelectComfort mattress,you pick your sleep
number, and a perfect view of the lobster
boats at Livingstone Cove. The third bedroom
is tucked in the southeast corner of the
house and has two twin beds arranged in
trundle fashion. |

The
Second Floor
The entire second floor is the master suite
featuring a large bedroom, with a 180 degree
water view from your queen size bed, huge
bathroom with a whirlpool tub and a double
loft looking down on the livingroom and
multiple ocean views. The loft can easily
double as a sleeping area for your seventh
and eighth guests. |

The
Surrounding Nature
Bald eagles, hawks and deer
are seen on the property most days and if
you are a lover of hummingbirds, our feeder
is busy from sun up to sundown.
From this home you can hike the extensive
Cape George Trail System, ride bikes on
quiet country roads, kayak, canoe OR just
sit and read, walk on the beach, sleep or
just stay in bed and watch mother nature's
daily theater play out over the ocean.
If you choose to come and enjoy this
home, you will leave with a renewed sense of
calm and integration into this beautiful
natural world all around us. |
